In order to ensure suppliers provide REACH/CLP & GHS compliant safety data sheets, Intersolia offers a new service where these are reviewed and any deviations are made visible in iChemistry.
Why plausibility check?
Over 50% of today’s safety data sheets are incorrect or lack information.
Safety data sheets (SDS) are a legal requirement for most chemicals. According to REACH section II a safety data sheet must contain certain information and the company responsible for the information in the SDS is the manufacturer or other corporation responsible for distribution of the chemical.
With a plausibility check we verify that the SDS meets the requirements for both REACH/CLP and GHS dependent of region and regulation that applies to the market where the company or department is located.
